Saturday Night Camping at Kerwa

Camp under the stars at Kerwa on Saturday, trek to a hidden waterfall on Sunday. One weekend, two experiences, and the Sunday trek is already in the Saturday package.

Saturday is camp: a jungle walk to the sunset spot, a boat ride as the light goes, tents pitched for you, bonfire, karaoke and live music, and authentic village dal bafle for dinner. Washroom amenities on site, and the camp is set up to be safe for women.

Sunday is the trek: caves midway, a hidden waterfall to bathe in, and Jungle Paglu special maggi and tea at the water before we walk back.

Included — travel both ways, food (dinner, tea, breakfast, maggi and coffee, lunch), camp stay, and the activities: sunset boat ride and the morning trek.

Saturday 26th September

• 3:00 PM — meet at the pick-up point.
• 4:00 PM — reach the base camp spot at Kerwa.
• 4:30 PM — introductions.
• 5:00 PM — welcome drink.
• 5:10 PM — short jungle walk to the spot, and the sunset boat ride.
• 6:30 PM — back to base camp.
• 7:00 PM — tents allocated.
• 7:30 PM — bonfire lit.
• 8:00 PM — adventure activities, cooking and survival games.
• 9:00 PM — bonfire, karaoke and live music.
• 10:00 PM — dinner: authentic village dal bafle, veg and non-veg.
• 11:00 PM — lights off, sleep under the stars.

Sunday 27th September

• 5:00 AM — wake-up call.
• 5:30 AM — ready for the morning trek.
• 6:00 AM — reach base camp.
• 6:30 AM — morning tea at base camp.
• 6:45 AM — start the trek.
• 7:25 AM — explore the caves midway.
• 8:35 AM — trek on to the hidden waterfall.
• 8:55 AM — swim and a refreshing bath at the waterfall.
• 10:30 AM — Jungle Paglu special maggi and tea at the waterfall.
• 12:30 PM — trek back to the base village.
• 1:30 PM — pack up and head home.
• 2:00 PM — lunch: dal bafle.
• 2:30 PM — back in Bhopal (3 PM at the latest).

Times shift with the weather and the group — nobody is rushed off a rock.

Camp rules — no alcohol, no pan masala, no perfume.
